Dear Prospective Sponsor, You are invited to partner with the 1st North American Permaculture Convergence (NAPC) being held August 29–31, 2014 at Harmony Park in Clark’s Grove, Minnesota. This first North American Permaculture Convergence will be an historic event! Permaculturists from around North America will gather to share information, discuss their projects, plan, synthesize and build symbiotic relationships. How can permaculture assist a transition from our current, unsustainable, unethical system to local, resilient communities with sustainable food, energy, shelter and economic systems. Systems based on permaculture’s ethics of care of Earth and care of people. An NAPC sponsorship is a great way to support this event. In exchange for your financial or in-kind contribution, you will receive benefits that can include admission passes, promotion, acknowledgement, and space in our Permaculture Exposition. Please review the following “Sponsor Levels and Benefits” information. WHO: NAPC aims to attract 800 to 1,000 people. Predominantly permaculture activists, practitioners and consultants in the wide range of disciplines that permaculture encompasses such as food production, natural building, alternative economics, community governance and much else. NAPC is an ideal venue for reaching the permaculture community with your products, services or mission. WHAT: NAPC will feature a wide range of workshops, presentations, round table discussions, demonstrations, skill-shares, children’s activities and a permaculture exposition. It will generate physical outcomes, strategies, alliances and plans that will serve the permaculture community and society at large. WHERE: Harmony Park is a permaculture venue which hosts large events. Permaculture is already being incorporated into their systems. Clark Fork is an hour and a half from the Minneapolis/St Paul international airport, Amtrak and bus terminals. Most participants will be camping on site. NAPC is being organized by an ad hoc committee of permaculturists from around North America. All permaculture organizations, large and small, are invited to participate. We hope that this is the first of a continuing series of NAPCs. PERMACULTURE EXPOSITION: The NAPC Exposition will feature a wide array of permaculture organizations, businesses, services and products as well as closely related organizations, businesses, services and products. NAPC sponsors are entitled to a space in the Expo to promote their goods, services, etc. IN-KIND SPONSORS: We can accept in-kind donations in lieu of cash for needed items or services.
