Work Trade

The North American Permaculture Convergence would not be possible without the generous help of our work-traders! We promote work trade culture as a way to make the gathering accessible to all peoples. Work Trade exchange arrangements included camping and meals, in exchange for your time and effort. If you are arriving in a group, please denote that in the application, so we can coordinate appropriately. A FULL work trade is consider an exchange of 14 hours of your time. A PARTIAL work trade is considered an exchange of 7 hours of your time.

Hello my name is frank, i would like to come and do work trade and attend this awesome event!!!! I am wondering when the set up period is. I would preferably like to work before the event. If possible in either one long shift or two. I will have to take three days off work, so if i could do a day or two the week before or one long day right before the event, that would work really well for me. I Would like to not work during the event, but i can if its really needed. THank you

I hope you are doing well. Thank you for putting this together. It will be epic and I absolutely want to come. I am eager and so applied for a work trade early. When will I know if I get it? I want to know before June 1st so that if I don’t get the work trade, I can still apply for the Early Bird Deal.

Also in my application, I said I will be traveling alone. However, I have enlisted atleast 4 of my friends to attend as well.

Thank you! I look forward to hearing back.

Sarah told us about you, we are very excited to have you all! Thank you so much for coming early, being there beforehand will be crucial to NAPC set up, without volunteers and work traders we would not be able to do what we are doing :-). Monica.

I would love to do a full work trade. During and post event. I love Permaculture!
I am very skilled in many aspects of event and festival planning and orchestration.
I am flying to Minneapolis to visit family and bought tickets to the Shangrila Festival.
I have 25 plus years professional cooking experience and 10 years with audio/visual.
Currently I work as the seasonal Lead Cook at Lost Valley Educational Center in Dexter,
Oregon. I worked at the “New Riverside Cafe” on the West Bank of Minneapolis before
moving to the Pacific Northwest “Cascadia”! I am a vegetarian and very skilled at preparing vegan, gluten-free, night-shade free and other diets with restrictions.
I also have excellent personal and professional references if needed!
Please bring me on-board! Thanks, Nava Sundari d.d.
